This publication is a redline comparison between the 2018 NDS and the 2024 NDS that shows new material (underlined) and deletions (strikethrough). This 62-page publication includes only those pages of the standard that have new or deleted material and is not a replacement for the 2024 NDS which is over 200 pages. While care has been taken to ensure accuracy, this document may contain editorial errors, omissions, or formatting inconsistencies. If there are any discrepancies between this document and the officially published standard, the applicable provisions in the officially published standard shall control.
The 2024 NDS includes design information for sawn lumber, structural glued laminated timber, structural-use panels, poles and piles, I-joists, structural composite lumber, structural connections (nails, bolts, screws) and cross-laminated timber.
The Redline is only available for purchase with the 2024 NDS.
